Cool as casserole.

Once only a precious vintage find, Dansk Købenstyle sleek casserole dishes are now one of those “gotta-have-’em” pieces for the home cook who loves their retro vibes. The triple-enameled carbon steel can evenly cook any soup, stew, or ragù we throw at it, and it’s so darn pretty we can bring it straight from oven to the dinner table, where the ingenious lid also doubles as a trivet. (And if you’re tempted to get more than one of these pots, you can also use the lids for easy stacking!) A quick scrub with hot, soapy water will wash away even the most stubborn food bits, so being on dish duty feels a lot more bearable. Did we mention it’s oven (so you can use it for low-and-slow braises as you would with a Dutch oven), stovetop (including induction), and even freezer safe? Well, it is.

Dansk Købenstyle cookware gets its good looks from Jens Quistgaard, a Danish designer and sculptor who took his artful know-how and translated it into practical pieces we reach for everyday. We knew the minute we clapped eyes on these beauties we wanted them in the shop along with their one-of-a-kind Scandinavian history. Ideal for warming dishes and, well, casseroles, they're also wonders at serving cider or mulled wine on the buffet, too.
